Once upon a tail-wagging time, a group of dog-loving humans had a dream. Why not create a haven where every bark is celebrated, and every wag is cherished? Thus, Hound HQ was born – a pup paradise crafted with love, treats, and a sprinkle of magic for our four-legged buddies. We were originally just checking it out as a prospective boarding place for when we go on vacation this summer, but loved it so much that we signed up for 8 visits per month. Owner & Mastermind

Meet Jake

The owner and mastermind behind Hound HQ. Combining his love for dogs with a flair for innovative pet care, Jake has created a haven for Omaha’s four-legged residents. His philosophy? Every dog deserves a day filled with play, care, attention and, of course, tail wags.

Jake is a class of 2015 Millard North High School graduate and is so excited for this new endeavor right where he grew up. He and his wife, Bennett, have two dogs named Bourbon (Boykin Spaniel / American Foxhound Mix) and Captain (Labradoodle).
